What do our Travellers say?

"The best thing about a Lingua Musica Tour is that they have personally visited every hotel in their Itinerary and personally travelled all routes taken, so that there are never any nasty surprises. But best of all, they take us to small fascinating festivals, obtaining excellent tickets. The individual traveller would find it impossible to achieve the results of Lingua Musica's knowledge, built up over a life-time of travel, coupled with their on-going research."
Clive Stark, ABC Radio Arts Personality, Melbourne, Australia

"The Guides are always wonderful English speaking locals, who are at the top of their profession. It is these added touches which enable us to really immerse ourselves in our travelling, rather than remain as tourists."

Lingua Musica tours are always a great experience ... a diversity of music festivals and performances in interesting venues, many featuring world-class artists. We have attended concerts in castles, chateaux, modern concert halls, baroque chapels and very old and ornate theatres. Accommodation is always excellent, travelling comfortable. We have free time at all destinations to "do our own thing". I would go on all the tours if I could!"
Beverley Pether, Witchcliffe, WA, Australia.

“I have had the pleasure of being involved in several of Roma's tours, always a true delight for both the mind and soul. The information imparted by the experts she employs throughout the “journey”, brings to life the sights and cultures. Each location becomes a memorable experience, not just a visit.”

""We have enjoyed several tours with Lingua Musica, each one different and offering a diverse, sparkling mix of superb music in wonderful venues; plus exciting side excursions into art, architecture and history. It is also a great pleasure and reward to travel and share with like minded people".
Peter Budd, South Murwillambah, NSW, Australia

"I have experienced three Lingua Musica tours. All have been delightful. The promised musical wonders, as well as appreciation of art, architecture and the discovery of diverse and interesting places. Lingua Musica tours are friendly, relaxed and always informative. Charming city hotels and meals add to the comfort and pleasure these journeys provide."
Aileen Halloran, South Melbourne, VIC, Australia

"Lingua Musica Tours include a Guide for the duration of our stay in each location, plus guides which accompany us on walking tours and for each Museum we visit. These are always wonderful English-speaking locals, who are at the top of their profession. It is these added touches which enable us to really immerse ourselves in our travelling, rather than remain as tourists"
Clive Stark, ABC Radio and Arts Personality, VIC, Australia

"You think it can't possibly get any better than this. And then it does!"
Lois Dudley, Glamorganvale, Queensland, Australia

"We have travelled with Lingua Musica on three occasions. Each has been an outstanding success, meeting our admittedly high expectations across our several passions - Travel, Art, Music and History. Roma seeks out superb musical performances in exquisite venues; her choice of accommodation amazes and excites us; the local guides she employs - be it for an introductory tour of a new city or an excellent and enthusiastic guide to one of the world's great art galleries - have never let us down."
John and Elizabeth Hemer, Canberra, ACT, Australia

"I have travelled with Lingua Musica three times.  Each tour has been an absolute delight.  Roma Randles introduced me to exquisite music, including the great Isaac Stern,  the great European music houses, fellow music lovers and the awesome cities of Europe.  I recommend Lingua Musica with total confidence.  I have memories to last a lifetime."
Joan Nunan, Essendon, VIC, Australia

"Thank you, Roma and Lingua Musica, for what probably is the most exciting, entertaining, memorable and rewarding tour I have ever been privileged to experience. The cities, the music, the accommodation, the company – all presided over professionally and pleasantly by you – outdid my expectations. I will certainly join one of your tours again."
Graham Smith, Oyster Bay, NSW, Australia

"Lingua Musica tours are always fun and informative ... they are great for music and the arts generally, with good centrally located hotels and free time for extra discovery. I have so far enjoyed two Lingua Musica tours."
Sally Willis, Dalkeith, Perth, WA, Australia

"Going on tour with Lingua Musica is always a relaxed and stimulating cultural experience. We really loved both tours we participated in."
Leah and Richard Werner, Brisbane, QLD, Australia

"Our Lingua Musica tours were a wonderful tapestry of music, art, history and scenery.  Roma often surprised us with unexpected gems, such as intimate concerts in churches.  An added bonus was that the accommodation was always close to the centre of planned activities and met a very high standard."
Helen Slocombe, Umina Beach, NSW, Australia

"I first heard about Lingua Musica Tours in 1999 and was delighted to be able to join the North/South Odyssey in 2000.  Roma Randles organised a wonderful journey from Stockholm to Rome.  One very special moment in time for me was listening to Ruth Nye and Roma Randles playing Grieg at his home in Troldhaugen. The grand piano was centre stage in front of huge glass windows overlooking the composer’s tiny studio and the lake. Roma had organised this concert and it was only the beginning of a fantastic, varied, stress-free and comfortable tour. If you love music, art, travel and special moments of sheer joy, I recommend joining a Lingua Musica Tour."
Gary and Cheryl Weatherill, Perth, WA, Australia

"We have had wonderful experiences on Lingua Musica tours with Roma Randles, whose vast musical and organisational knowledge and ability to inspire and entertain her travelling companions is quite unique. In Poland and Russia and so many other locations, we have enjoyed Opera, Symphony and solo recitals in splendid venues as well as walled villages, enchanting countryside, significant art galleries etc. We have special memories of the Feast of Wine and Music tour of 2006, when in Ljubljana, the brilliant young French pianist, Emmanuel Despax, gave two superb performances, including the Schumann Symphonic Etudes Op 13 and some inspiring and exquisite Mozart. Also here, Roma played the Mozart Piano Quartet in g minor, K 478, with the Ljubljana String Trio. This tour, escorted by well known wine identity, Christopher Barnes AM, of the Hunter Valley, found us travelling from Strasbourg along the Route des Vins and visiting several famous wineries and vineyards in the Alsace and Burgundy as well as staying in the luxurious Burgundian Chateau de Gilly. A memorable tour indeed!"
Judy and Gordon Cope-Williams, Romsey, Victoria, Australia

" Expect the unexpected when you travel with Roma Randles on a Lingua Musica tour. Every day she has a surprise in store. As well as the grand operas, symphonies , chamber music etc in great venues, we have had  private recitals in some of the most beautiful gilt and mirrored salons in Europe. Add to that, lunch in a mountain top restaurant with views to die for, or afternoon tea at the famous 'White Horse Inn' and how good is that ! You will never regret your decision to travel with Lingua Musica."
Joy Wardle, Milsons Point, NSW

"My fifth tour with Roma was the Liszt Bi-centenary celebratory tour in 2011.
The relaxed and friendly atmosphere she created made the whole experience a sheer delight. The hotels were excellent, the guides, lecturers and music performances were wonderful. All in all it was a wonderful time."
