  From our Travellers

"I have enjoyed three Lingua Musica Tours, each one different and offering a diverse, sparkling mix of superb music in wonderful venues; plus exciting side excursions into art, architecture and history. It is also a great pleasure and reward to travel and share with like-minded people".
Peter Budd, South Murwillambah, NSW, Australia

OUR MISSION STATEMENT
"We are passionate about sharing our knowledge and expertise in Europe's cultural and musical landscape, enriching the travelling experiences of our guests."

"We regard our tours as being a return to our favourite European places accompanied by a group of friends, which is why some of our guests have returned three, four and even five times to travel with us."

LINGUA MUSICA was founded in 1988 by Roma Randles, a highly experienced musician and music educator with a lively personality and great love of travel.

By contrast with larger, multi-tour organisations, Lingua Musica is proud to remain a boutique one. Our Director, who knows and loves her locations so well, regards every tour as a return to favourite places with a group of friends. Our focus is very much on personal attention to each of our guests and developing on-tour cameraderie, experiencing and learning. Perhaps this is why our guests have returned three, four and even five times to travel with us.

Our success for more than twenty years has been due to a commitment to providing world-class European performances in diverse and interesting venues, many slightly off the beaten track. This provides an extraordinarily eclectic mix of experiences.

From grand European music festivals such as Salzburg, Austria, to smaller ones such as Duszniki, Poland, standard Lingua Musica fare includes opera, ballet, and symphony in great European concert houses, or intimate music performances in ancient castles and churches. Each year sees a different route, though tours return to favourite places many times.

Lingua Musica tours incorporate many additional activities - art galleries, walking tours, full-day excursions, stimulating lectures, visits to composers’ homes and great meals in interesting locations ... all accompanied by expert English speaking guides.

With a proven record for excellence in content and organisation, all on the ground arrangements are in the hands of trusted local operators - there is no area of accommodation and content not personally experienced by Lingua Musica many times.

"Lingua Musica guests are like-minded travellers seeking inspiration and knowledge, rather than merely "taking a trip". We are dedicted to providing this at a leisurely and relaxed pace."
