"I had a really special time on the tour, especially in Weimar and Bayreuth, where I had never been. It was so very moving to be in the places where Liszt lived and died . Sacile was also a very happy time." Ruth Nye, Surrey, UK
"A great experience. Accommodation and meals well chosen every time...the diversity and the experience of all the performances and all the venues. We loved it all and consider ourselves to be very privileged to have been able to join such a tour which opened so many unexpected doors for us, and with such an exciting mix of people." Joanne and John Nairn, Mt Eliza, Vic

"It was all excellent, ... very special performances, and very well organised. I have grown culturally and now want to travel to Europe every year!" Phy Jones, Arlington, USA
"I must say I think my recent 'Liszt Bicentenary and More' tour was an absolute winner. Lovely sunny days followed us all the way ( except briefly in Venice ) and the autumn colour added to our pleasure. A really well balanced group of medicos, academics, musicians and others ( 16 in all ) was a delight to lead and also such fun. We had some hilarious lunches and dinners enroute as well as experiencing all those uplifting and inspiring performances, lectures and excursions in Vienna, Budapest, Leipzig, Weimar, Bayreuth , Venice and Sacile, and finally in Rome. Ruth Nye's sunny involvement on tour was a privilege we all appreciated so much and her lectures and performance of Liszt wonderful. Outstanding highlights perhaps were the sophisticated production of 'Traviata' with the incomparable Natalie Dessay in Vienna, the official Liszt 200th Birthday concert at the newly opened Weimar Konzerthalle, the marvellously guided visit to Bayreuth, the brilliant solo recitals by French Emmanuel Despax and Italian David Malusa respecively, the unique and expertly guided tour by Terry Lewis of the Fazioli Piano Factory in Sacile and finally The Eternal City..Rome and so many of its treasures. A couple of excellent First Class train journeys and a couple of short on tour flights made it all possible." Roma Randles Director
