"The best thing about a Lingua Musica Tour is that they have personally visited every hotel in their Itinerary and personally travelled all routes taken, so that there are never any nasty surprises. But best of all, they take us to small fascinating festivals, obtaining excellent tickets. The individual traveller would find it impossible to achieve the results of Lingua Musica's knowledge, built up over a life-time of travel, coupled with their on-going research."
Clive Stark, ABC Radio Arts Personality, Melbourne, Australia

"We regard our tours as being a return to our favourite  European places accompanied by a group of friends, which is why some of our guests have returned three, four and even five times to travel with us."

With PROF RUTH NYE, MBE, FRCM

With the milder weather, autumn colour and less congestion, October is a delightful time to travel in Europe.

We are very privileged to have RUTH NYE join us on this tour because of her special insights into the music and personality of Franz Liszt. This came about because of her long thirty year relationship with her teacher and friend, the Chilean maestro, Claudio Arrau, who was considered in his youth by his own teacher, Martin Krause, as being "another Liszt". Martin Krause himself had been a student of Franz Liszt. Claudio Arrau led Ruth Nye to regard the brilliant virtuosity and musical genius of Liszt in a manner she had not before encountered and which also gave her deep insights into the personality of the man.
