If you’re keen to experience the best of European classical music performance, opera, ballet and art in the company of like-minded companions consider a Lingua Musica tour
Founded in 1988 by professional musician, Roma Randles,  LINGUA MUSICA connects music lovers wishing to experience more out of travel than simply visiting different cities. Each year, tours visit different parts of Europe for cultural tours around a theme. More

HEAR FROM OUR TRAVELLERS:

"The best thing about a Lingua Musica Tour is that they have personally visited every hotel in their Itinerary and they have personally travelled all routes taken, so that there are never any nasty surprises. But best of all, they take us to small fascinating festivals, obtaining excellent tickets. The individual traveller would find it impossible to achieve the results of Lingua Musica's knowledge, built up over a life-time of travel, coupled with their on-going research."

"Our philosophy is to incorporate many events beyond the norm. This is what makes our tours so special."

OUR TOURS FOR 2011

Picture
This year our tours are designed to bring you the very best of European music experience in our favourite cities, as well as in beautiful locations which are well known to some, but may provide an impetus for a journey of discovery into some of Europe's most romantic regions for others. In July we travel to Perugia, Italy, to visit the TRASIMENO FESTIVAL, founded by world renowned pianist, ANGELA HEWITT.
Later in the year we visit the LUCERNE FESTIVAL as part of our SWISS FESTIVALS TOUR, in September, and in October, we focus on highlights of the life of Franz Liszt, celebrating his bi-centenary, commencing in Vienna. We travel to Budapest, Leipzig, Weimar, Bayreuth, before flying to Italy where visit the Fazioli Piano Factory in Sacile, before finally taking the fast train from Venice to Rome. There are limited tickets available for two of the performances on the Liszt tour so early booking would be wise.
