Twenty-nine years of incredible European travel and music experiences! Personally created and designed with the known needs and expectations of my beloved guests! First class travel and accommodation; highly qualified knowlegeable guides in all locations; superb music performance in wonderful venues ... opera, symphony, chamber music, solo recitals, including private ones from artists at the top of their fields.
From St Petersburg to Sicily; from Budapest to London and Ireland; Norway and Sweden; Switzerland; France, Austria and Germany ... many times. Several in Italy with all its incredible variety and colour; Poland, Spain, Slovenia, Croatia ... Ljubjana and Dubrovnik ... we've covered and enjoyed it all, over and over. We have experienced incredible journeys with superlative scenery; we have met and dined with great personalities; we have received hospitality in various Australian embassies in European capitals; we have enjoyed so many different cuisines and wines; all this and more ... and importantly, we have had so much fun together!
Above all, I am confident people have returned repeatedly to travel with LINGUA MUSICA because they know that they will receive personal care and attention from its Director and her highly professional Assistants and that each and every tour is personally designed and constructed by me, and always based on my own personal knowledge and love of their locations and inclusions. We are anything BUT a commercial tourist operation!
Following on from our spectacular tour in 2016 visiting the Swiss Festivals, including the Menuhin, Lucerne and Zurich, I look forward to our next musical experience in Spain on our Spanish Rhapsody tour,
Kind regards, Roma Randles

"We have enjoyed three Lingua Musica tours, each one different and offering a diverse, sparkling mix of superb music in wonderful venues, plus exciting side excursions into art, architecture and history. It is also a great pleasure and reward to travel and share with like minded people". Peter and Judy Budd, South Murwillambah, NSW, Australia
"We regard our tours as being a return to favourite European places accompanied by a group of friends, which is why some of our guests have returned three, four and even five times to travel with us."

Celebrating Franz Liszt (1811-1886) Budapest, Vienna, Paris, Weimar, Rome, concluding in Bayreuth October 2011 21 days
With RUTH NYE, MBE, FRCM Our tour focuses on the life of Franz Liszt and his associations with other Romantics of the period. Born in Hungary, Liszt was an important and influential composer, a notable piano teacher, a conductor who contributed significantly to the modern development of the art, and a benefactor to other composers and performers, notably Richard Wagner, Hector Berlioz, Camille Saint-Saëns, Edvard Grieg and Alexander Borodin. We will explore A less known side of Liszt's personality, through his association with one of his most brilliant pupils, Martin Krause, who in turn taught the great Chilean maestro, Claudio Arrau ... and then Arrau's long-time friend and pupil, Ruth Nye.
